Thomas Cannon, Jr.

Thomas Evans Cannon, Jr., 70, of Spartanburg, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 9, 1939, in Columbia, SC, he was the son of the late Thomas Evans Cannon, Sr. and Nell McLellan Cannon. He was a short-order cook and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by a sister, Nita Cannon Gibson of Woodstock, GA; and several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Chaplain Matthew Eddelman.
