Theresa Brock

Theresa Garrett Brock, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, November 23, 2013 at White Oak Manor. Born November 5, 1934, in Union County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ellie Caton and wife of the late Cleo Brock. She was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist and Rock Falls Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and day care operator. Surviving are her daughters, Glenda Smith (Phillip) of Pauline, SC, Tina Fowler (Ted) of Reidville, SC, and Beth Czapp (Alan) of Myrtle Beach, SC; sons, Donnie Garrett (Ann) of Boiling Springs, SC, David Garrett, and Randy Garrett both of Pacolet; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Harold Perry of Boiling Springs, SC. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Perry and son, Ronald Garrett. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Monday, November 25, 2013 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. David Carter. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Oak Manor, 295 East Pearl Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family is at their respective homes.
