Thelma Ruth "Susie" Rogers Allen, 74, of Spartanburg, SC died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at White Oak Estates. Born December 11, 1946 in Clifton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Lillie Mae Brock Rogers. Mrs. Allen was a retired nurse having worked at Spartanburg Regional Hospital Heart Center, DHEC Home Health, Dr. Sidney Fulmer, MD, and Union County School District. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, W. Conrad Allen; sons, William "Billy" Conrad Allen II of Spartanburg, SC, and David Edmond Allen of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter, Wendy A. Macdonald (Robert) of Columbia, SC, and grandchild, Logan Macdonald. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Jeffrey "Jeff" Allen and brother, Jimmie Rogers. Cryptside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Donnan Lawson. Visitation will follow the service. We ask that friends and family wear masks and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 901 South Pine Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
