Terry Sanders

Terry Lee Sanders, 53, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away to her home in Heaven on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 27, 1963, at Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, NC, she was the daughter of Marvin O. Sanders Jr. and Janice Deal Sanders of Spartanburg, SC. Terry received a Bachelor's Degree from Strayer University, was a graduate of Dorman High School, and she loved animals. She was a U. S. Air Force veteran, Staff Sergeant, and former member of VFW Post #9539 and Amvets Post 75 in Roebuck, SC. She was also a member of Buckeye Forest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, survivors include her son, Grant Reid Sanders of the home; sister, Amy Sanders Fowler (Jerry) of Inman, SC; brother, Mark Sanders of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Matthew Fowler and Mark Fowler of Inman, SC; and canine friend, Mojo. She was predeceased by a brother, Matt Sanders. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Friday, July 15, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Wilton and the Rev. Sal Barone. Burial, with military rites, will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home.
