Terry Lee Devendorf, 55, of 909 Belcher Road, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Born September 26, 1955 in Danbury, CT, he was the son of James N. Devendorf of Horseheads, NY and the late Alice vanNordstrand Devendorf. He was the owner of Ironclad Custom Spray-On Linings and a retired captain with the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department in Bethel, CT. In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Patricia Niles Devendorf; a son, Peter H. Lounsbury and wife Stacy of Spring Lake, MI; a sister, Mary James and husband Dennis of Anderson, SC; a brother, James T. Devendorf of Westport, CT; his father-in-law, Alton Niles of Inman, SC; a sister-in-law, Kimberly Hansen and husband Tim of Danbury, CT; a brother-in-law, Jonathan Niles and wife Gail of Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Evan and Kristen Lounsbury of Spring Lake, MI; and nieces and nephews, Erin, Brandon and Jayden Hansen of Danbury CT, Jonathan A. Niles of Boiling Springs, SC, James Devendorf of Bethel, CT, Amanda Devendorf-Leon of Norwalk, CT, Robert & Terrie Laskowski, and Tia Quenneville all of Spartanburg, SC, Deborah and Patrick Farnan of Enfield, CT, Mary Ellen and Robby Salvatore of Brookfireld, CT, Karen Perrotte of Southbury, CT, Joe and Marsha Perrotte of Anderson, SC, Ray and Sue Perrotte of Mesa, AZ, David and Linda Bertozzi of Bethel CT, Carol Anne and Gerard Kuczko of New Milford, CT, and Dwight and Esmeralda Bertozzi of Boston, MA. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Bertozzi. Visitation will be 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Erin Miller.
