Terry Davis

Martin Terry Davis, 50, of Moore, SC, died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. Born April 10, 1962, in Spartanburg, SC, he was son of Bernice Mae Thomas of Shelby, NC, and the late Joe Cephas Davis Sr. Mr. Davis attended Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church and was employed with Southeastern Roofing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Keith Martin Davis of Lafayette County, FL, Martin Terry Davis Jr. and Matthew S. Davis, both of Tampa, FL; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Jean Wall of Detroit, MI, Kathy Haddon of Moore, SC, and Tammy Loraine Davis of Holden Beach, SC; brothers, Larry James Davis of Tampa, FL, Allen Donald Davis of Earl, NC, Joe C. Davis Jr. of Detroit, MI, and Roger M. Davis of Franklin, NC; and his beloved dog, Angel Marie. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jo Davis. Visitation will be 10:00-10:45 AM Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. D. J. Horton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
