Teressa Hearn

Tess Hearn, 69, of Hillbrook Drive, Spartanburg, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at her home. Born January 11, 1943, in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of Teressa Hite Gallman of Jonesville, SC, and the late William Arthur Gallman. She was a graduate of Limestone College and retired from teaching in Spartanburg District Three. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Advent where she served as a member of the Alter Guild and was the Wedding Director of the Church. She was a past-president of The Magnolia Debutante Club and the Treasurer of the Spartanburg Questers Club. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gary Keith Hearn of the home; her brother, Everette Hite Gallman of Adamsburg, SC; three children, Kelly Trakas and husband Dean of Tryon, NC, Amanda Hunt and husband Ryan of Evans, GA, and G. Keith Hearn, Jr. of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, Anna and William Trakas, and Andrew, Ansley, and Grant Hunt. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 22, 2012, at The Episcopal Church of the Advent, by the Rev. J. Edward Morris. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
