A beautiful torment is the soul that has passed. A lover, mother, giver and gift so was she. Bright and shiny is the soul her memoir sings. Teresa Renee Walker Millwood, 57, born September 5, 1959 in Rutherfordton, NC to Nick and Thelma Lynch Walker has proceeded into glory. She will be remembered through the coming years by many. Often dubbed, "Mother Teresa", not only by herself but by the many children of all ages she touched with her ceaseless generosity, curious spirit, and intentionally evident "goodwill towards men". She was a sacrifice...always looking to tend to and find more broken souls to love. Surviving are her daughters, Amber Durham and Clarissa Towe; granddaughters, Octobur and Izabelle Murray; sisters, Reina Mountain, Carol Savage, and Nina Wood; and step-daughter, Jennifer Moore. She was predeceased by her sister, Kaye Stacey. Private services will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa Millwood Memorial Fund, c/o The J. F. Floyd Mortuary, PO Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. A very special lesson can be learned by the courageous heart of this sweet lady and that of her natural character. Never, ever stop loving, giving, and trying to glue together the pieces of a broken world. May your sweet soul soar into eternity Mama. We love you.
