Teresa Fowler

Teresa Lathan Fowler, 65, of Chesnee, SC died Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born July 21, 1955 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Lawrence Lathan Jr. and Judith Belue Lathan. A member of Northbrook Baptist Church, Boiling Springs, Mrs. Fowler loved music, gardening, flowers, and birds. She especially loved her grandchildren and was known as Granny Teresa to many. Survivors include her husband, Louie "Sam" Fowler; son, David L. Jernigan of Spartanburg, SC; step-daughter, Shannon Easler of Boiling Springs, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Jernigan of Greer, SC, Jade Owensby, Nick Owensby, Cam Mathis and Chance Mathis; great-grandchildren, Aubry, Brason, Brogan, Bridge and Kylah; brother, John Lathan (Terri) of King, NC; sister, Laura Steward (Neil) of Boiling Springs, SC; and her dog Nelly. Visitation will be held 2:00-2:45 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with funeral services following at 3:00 PM in the Chapel conducted by The Rev. Benny Green and The Rev. Phillip Gallman. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Complex, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 3101 Industrial Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609.
