Teresa Coggins

Nancy Teresa Gibbs Coggins, 57, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, June 2, 2016, at her home. Born January 25, 1959, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of Charles Eugene and Nancy Jo Hallman Gibbs of Spartanburg, SC, and wife of Steve K. Coggins of the home. A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Teresa received an Associate's Degree from Spartanburg Technical College and retired from the State of South Carolina. She was a licensed massage therapist and enjoyed pottery making, calligraphy, and singing in the church choir. She was a member of Hope Church. In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include her sister, Debbie Wright (Gene) of Spartanburg, SC; sister-in-law, Amy Solesbee (Bobby) of Boiling Springs, SC; father and mother-in-law William K. and Mary Boukedes Coggins of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Kyle Wright (Neely), Taylor Wright, Logan Solesbee and Landon Solesbee; and her feline companions, Gus, Amber, and Jack. Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 PM Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jan King. Private entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will be at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Gene Wright, at 150 Ann Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303 from 6:00-8:30 PM Friday, June 3, 2016.
