Teddy Gene Ramsey, 77, of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, January 17, 2021 at his home. Born January 10, 1944, in Spartanburg, SC he was the son of the late Lawrence Eugene and Evie Mae Steadman Ramsey. Survivors include his sister, Pat Cartee of York, SC; nieces, Faye Greenway of Valley Falls, SC, Shirley Payne of Inman, SC, and Kira Cartee of Chester, SC and nephews, Gene "Butch" Cartee, Jaden Moses and Jack Cartee all of Chester, SC, Charles Nikki Cartee of Island Falls, ME and Kenneth Pearson of Spartanburg, SC. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 conducted by Mr. Kenneth Pearson. Visitation will follow at graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Charles Lea Center Foundation, 195 Burdette Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
