Taylor Whiteside

Our Princess, Taylor Ann Whiteside, 11, of 120 School Drive, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born March 27, 1999 in Spartanburg, SC, she is a daughter of Johnny Whiteside, Jr. and Jamie Halford Whiteside of Arcadia. A member of Rock Falls Church, she was a 5th grade student at Arcadia Elementary School. She was an avid Clemson fan and a Jeff Cooke racing fan. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Tiffany Whiteside of the home; grandparents, Bobby and Patty Laws , David and Nancy Halford, Johnny Whiteside, Sr., and Linda Fouse; and great-grandparents, James and Helen Everette, Charles Linder, Johnny Halford, and Ellen Bush. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday August 17, 2010 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Rock Falls Church, conducted by the Pastors David and Sherry Carter. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock Falls Church, 8349 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29316. The family will gather at 138 Ridgeway Road, Spartanburg, SC.
