Tammy Renee Wyatt Knoth, age 58, of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at her mother’s home with her family surrounding her.
She was the beloved wife of Kevin J. Knoth of Lakeland, FL; mother to Brandon Waddell of Spartanburg, SC, Victoria Vitelli (Peter) of Mount Vernon, NY, Jonathan Waddell of Greenville, SC, and Kaitlyn Kushner (Micah) of Lakeland, FL; three grandchildren, Cassia and Skyla Waddell and Zola Kushner; and the daughter of Linda Gail Blanton, of Wellford, SC.
As a registered nurse, Tammy was always taking care of others; she was a nurse at heart and not just by trade. She knew what she wanted and did not settle for anything less. Tammy was a fighter and she fought hard, never giving in to her cancer or her circumstances. She and Kevin had a Bucket List and during her cancer diagnosis they lived an abundant life, traveling all over the United States, Europe, and the British Virgin Isles. She enjoyed shopping at “The Fancy Flea” a traveling vintage flea market and antiquing with her husband. Tammy loved the mountains and the beach!
Tammy was instrumental in facilitating several homeless shelters and serving the people who attended them.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel with Pastor Mike Harrell officiating. A Celebration of Life service will also be held in Lakeland, FL at a later date.
