Sylvia Owens

Sylvia Elaine Crowe Owens, 67, of Campobello, went home to be with Jesus, Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Born December 20, 1943, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Brank and Jessie Johnson Crowe, and wife of her beloved husband, Charles Owens, of the home. Mrs. Owens was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Pam Quinn of Woodruff; three sons, Todd, Chip, and Scott Owens, all of Campobello; grandchildren, Brooke Owens, Kelsey Owens, Lindsey Quinn, Hannah Quinn, Joshua Owens, and Hunter Owens; a sister, Nelda Spivey of Boiling Springs; and five brothers, Buzzy Crowe of Boiling Springs, Pete and Sammy Crowe of Woodruff, Jimmy Crowe of Spartanburg, and Ricky Crowe of Woodruff; Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church, Cowpens. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM, in the church, conducted by the Rev. Henry Coley and the Rev. Dennis Burger. Burial will be in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family is at the home.
