Sylvia Bagwell

Sylvia Marlene Bagwell, 77, a resident of Whitten Center in Clinton, died Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Hospice of Laurens County. Born October 17, 1935, in Spartanburg County, Marlene was the daughter of the late John Earl Bagwell Sr. and Maude Puckett Bagwell. She was of the Baptist faith. Marlene is survived by her sisters, Barbara B. Bagwell and Carole Bagwell Gilbert; brother, John E. Bagwell Jr.; sisters-in-law, Wruble Bagwell Hammitt, Suzanne Paris Bagwell; brother-in-law, Bill Bagwell; 14 nieces and nephews; 29 great nieces and nephews; and 3 great-great nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dean Allen.
