Sybil Lane

Sybil H. Lane, 74, of Spartanburg, died Monday, April 2, 2012, at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Born August 12, 1937, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Vadie Bice Henderson. She was formerly employed with Mettler Toledo and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Lane of St. Pete, FL; granddaughter, Ashley Garrison of Clearwater, FL; great-grandson, Gage Silvey of Clearwater, FL; brothers, Bobby Henderson and wife Anne, and Albert Henderson, Jr. and wife Alice; sisters, Peggy Bozman and husband Pete, and Dot Henderson; best friend, Glennie Davis, all of Spartanburg; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 5, 2012, in Sunset Memorial Park, by the Rev. Chuck Thornton.
