Susan Tennyson

Susan Lynn Hall Tennyson, 55, of Chesnee, SC, died Sunday, September 1, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 26, 1958, in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of Marjorie Waugh Hall of Greenville, SC, and the late Charles David Hall. A loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Tennyson was a member of Mayo First Baptist Church and retired insurance agent. Survivors include her beloved husband Joe C. Tennyson; daughters, Leigh Anne Moore (Josh), and Ashley Whitt (Michael), all of Chesnee; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Denise Bishop of Charleston. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2013, at Mayo First Baptist Church, 190 Mayo Rd., Mayo, SC 29368, by the Rev. Daryl B. Tolleson. Visitation will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mayo First Baptist Church, PO Box 37, Mayo, SC 29368. The family is at the home of her daughter, Leigh Anne Moore.
