Susan Lancaster

Mary "Susan" Lancaster, 57, of Greer, died Thursday, July 2, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born December 1, 1951, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of Ozelle Lands Lancaster of Spartanburg and the late Johnny Lancaster. She graduated Summa cum Laude from Wofford College in 1978. Susan was an Assistant Director of Admission at Wofford College and a dance instructor with Miss Marions School of Dance for over 30 years. Survivors include her husband of 31 years, Jack Pyles; a daughter Morgan Page and husband Mike and grandson Jack of Easley; a brother Bill Lancaster and wife Susan of Lyman; a niece, Amy; and a nephew, John. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at Floyd?s North Church Street Chapel with an informal memorial service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
