Sue Garrett

Sue Minick Garrett, 89, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, June 16, 2022. Born November 12, 1932 in Saluda, SC, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Eugene “Tom” and Nellie Parrish Minick.

Mrs. Garrett was a teacher for many years and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, Jack Garrett and by her son, Tommy. She was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph C. Minick and sisters, Monte Pardue and Ella Ree Berry.

Sue was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nephews; Robert Berry, W. Eric Berry and David L. Pardue, niece Bonnie Lane and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Cryptside service will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 1, 2022 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Brad Gray.
