Steven Sanders

Steven Michael "Stevie" Sanders, 46, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 9, 1970, in Gaffney, SC, he was the son of Patricia Sprouse of Spartanburg, SC and the late Eddie Michael Sanders. Stevie was employed as a welder with Renfrow Brothers Inc. and volunteered at Cowpens Fire Department. He was a member of the "Red Rooster Breakfast Club" and attended Pacolet Road Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Jodi Carroll Sanders; and "adopted son"/nephew, Rusty Lee Sanders. He was predeceased by a brother, Tillman Lee Sanders. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC, by the Rev. Jimmy Powell and the Rev. Bryon Inman. Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Steven Michael Sanders Fund in Care, PO Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304.
