Steven Armfield

Steven Bradford Armfield, 35, of Spartanburg, SC, died April 5, 2017 in an accident in Fairfield County, SC. Born July 24, 1981, in Newberry, SC, he was the son of Steven Franklin and Teala Britt Armfield of Newberry, SC. Brad was a tennis professional and personal trainer at the Country Club of Spartanburg for 10 years. Brad was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved the outdoors and was always the life of the party. Some of his talents included cooking, coaching, wake surfing, and corn hole. He always had an infectious smile that was loved by all! As a Christian, Brad was a positive role model and a huge Kentucky Wildcat fan. He was a graduate of Newberry High School and attended the University of Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Hillary Easler Armfield and their two dogs, Joe and Lexi; maternal grandfather, Richard Britt (Joyce) of Irmo, SC; mother and father-in-law, Debra and Kenneth Easler of Ninety Six, SC; sisters and brother-in-laws, Michelle Tisdale (Tim) and Ashley Loging (James) all of Prosperity, SC, and brother-in-law Corbin Easler of Ninety Six, SC. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:30 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, with services following at 4:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jody Flowers.
