Steve Randall Wooten, 57, of 7615 Jennings Street, died Monday, October 11, 2010 at his home. Born February 11, 1953 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Chester and Anna Belle Mabry Wooten. Survivors include his wife, Karen J. Tate; two sons, Kirby Tate of Spartanburg and Randy Steven Abernathy of Chesnee; two daughters, Brandi Wooten of Spartanburg and Tammy Ward of Tabor City, NC; two brothers, Roger Mabry and Richard Lee Wooten, both of Spartanburg; and a sister, Brenda Lambert of Inman. He was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Randall Wooten. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2010 at United Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Jack Weaver, the Rev. Robert Emory, and the Rev. Kris Showen. Memorials may be made to the Youth Ministry of United Baptist Church, 7319 Valley Falls Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or to Bahamas Mission Fund, State Line Baptist Church, 1328 State Line Road, Gaffney, SC 29341.
