Stephen Jones

Stephen Wayne Jones, 64, of 320 Sutton Road, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at his home. Born April 18, 1946, in Pacolet Mills, he was a son of the late Luther Robert and Maggie Elizabeth Scales Jones. He was formerly employed at Kusters Corporation and was a member of Friends of Faith Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Linda Faye Grigg; stepsons, Tony Grigg, Ric Grigg, Tony Harrison and Jeff Harrison; a brother, Liston D. Jones and wife Dallas of Gaffney, SC; three sisters, Ophelia J. Bynum of Memphis, TN, Lovyonne J. Weathers of Charlotte, NC and Myrtis J. Marcello of Roebuck, SC; eleven nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Donna Harrison; three brothers, Lewis E. Jones, Henry T. Jones and Paul D. "Babe" Jones; and a sister, Grace J. Burleson. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon Monday, October 18, 2010, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery in Pacolet Mills, conducted by the Rev. David Chastain and the Rev. Steve Foster.
