Stephen Hill

Stephen George Hill, 78, of Spartanburg, SC died Friday, August 13, 2021 at his home. Born February 7, 1943 in Clinton, SC, he was the son of the late George Miller and Frances Bouknight Hill.

Mr. Hill served with the National Guard and was a graduate of Clemson College, now named Clemson University. Stephen was retired co-owner of George M. Hill & Sons, Inc. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Cromer Hill, his son, Zachary Hill, his daughter, Wendy McLyea (Chris), his granddaughter, Chrisyn McLyea, and his brother, David “Kit” Hill, all of Spartanburg, SC.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Todd Black.
