Stella Schrader

Stella Fain Schrader, 90, of Spartanburg, passed on to heaven Friday evening, September 25, 2009, to join her beloved husband, the Rev. Vernon D. Schrader. Born March 6, 1919, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late William and Lula Fain. Stella was a dedicated, devoted and loved friend and employee of Ed and Gail Yarborough for 36 years at Diamond Jewelers in downtown Spartanburg . She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. Surviving is a brother, Marshall Fain of Ashdown, Arkansas. She was predeceased by five brothers, O.N. (Red) Fain, George Fain, Craft Fain, Paul Fain and Clifford Fain; and one sister, Dovie Dowling. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. B.
