Sina Green

Sina Elizabeth Osteen Green, 99, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at her home. Born October 12, 1914, in the Goucher community of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Era Avalona Wilkins Osteen and wife of the late Ralph Earl Green. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia G. (Paul) Cook; grandson, Chris Bryant; great-grandson, Jason (Rachel) Bryant; two great-great-grandchildren; and brothers, Pete, Harold, and Herman Osteen. She was predeceased by a grandson, Terry Bryant. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Kirk H. Neely. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SRMC Hospice Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
