Sibyl Edwards

Sibyl H. Edwards, 84, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her home. Born December 7, 1932, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Boyce Hilbert Hall Sr. and Annie Belle Lane Hall. Mrs. Edwards loved her church and family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Valley Falls. She was the secretary/bookkeeper at Boiling Springs High School for over 25 years and then served as secretary for First Baptist Church of Valley Falls. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Franklin Edwards; daughter, Denise Parker of Boiling Springs, SC; sons, Robby Edwards (Mary) of Inman, SC, Randy Edwards (Julia Anne) of Seneca, SC, Roger Edwards (Sandra) of Boiling Springs, SC; daughters-in-law, Anna Edwards of Boiling Springs, SC and Paula Scruggs Edwards of Columbus, NC; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Hall, Nina Gregory and Peggy Ann Bruce; and brothers, Boyce H. Hall Jr., James Franklin Hall, and A. C. Hall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Rusty Edwards; son-in-law, L. Earl Parker; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Horton Edwards. Visitation will be 1:00-2:15 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2017, in the sanctuary at First Baptist Church of Valley Falls, 8352 Valley Falls Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 PM conducted by Mr. Jerry Cobb. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
