Shirley White

Shirley D. White, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at her home. Born January 15, 1935, in Union County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Shumpert Lee Dunaway and Nettie Marie Gardner Dunaway. She was a member of Pacolet First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Fay Landrum White, Jr.; children, Robin Breitenbach (Johnny) of Spartanburg, SC and James Belk of Pacolet, SC; three special step-children, Chris, Iris, and Pam that she loved; many grand and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly; nieces and nephews that thought of her as a mother. In addition to her parents, husband, and siblings, she was predeceased by a daughter, Vicki O'Dell. Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 PM Friday, May 18, 2018, at Pacolet First Baptist Church, 310 W. Main St., Pacolet, SC 29372, with funeral services following at 4:00 PM, conducted by The Rev. Tommy Sparks and The Rev. Larry Holland. Burial will be in Pacolet First Baptist Church Cemetery.
