Shirley Richards

Shirley M. Richards, 78, of Spartanburg, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at her home in Spartanburg. Born July 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Juanita Johnson. Shirley was a very loving and kind lady. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include four daughters, Deborah A. McLees of the home, Sandra Hammersley of Spartanburg, Patricia Pritchard of N. Charleston, and Pamela Bailey of Summerville; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Gosnell of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Olin Dean Richards. Visitation will be held at 2:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 PM in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307 by the Rev. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G.
