Shirley Ramsey

Shirley Ann Allen Ramsey, 79, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at her home. Born February 2, 1936, in Whitney, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert O. and Thelma "Bill" Lemaster Allen. A graduate of Spartanburg High School and member of Whitney Baptist Church, Mrs. Ramsey worked as a medical lab tech and a pharmacy tech in the healthcare industry and an income tax preparer. Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Ramsey; sons, Brian Ramsey (Elizabeth) of Monument, CO, Keith Ramsey (Patricia) of Winchester, VA, and Bruce Ramsey of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Toni Parry, Emma Ramsey, Danielle Ramsey, and Rebekah Ramsey; and great-grandson, Zander Parry. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 PM Monday, June 29, 2015, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307, by the Rev. Mark Williams. The family is at the home.
