Shirley "Nannie"

Shirley Ruth Malone Durham, 82, of Cowpens, SC, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Inman Healthcare. Born May 28, 1936, in Inman, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ryan E. and Minnie Ruth Cook Malone and widow of Bobby Ryan Durham. Mrs. Durham loved to laugh and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to crochet, cross stitch, do word search puzzles, and was an avid reader. She was a graduate of Boiling Springs High School, a member of Croft Baptist Church, and retired from Smith Drug #2. Survivors include her children, Bobby Len Durham (Ellen) of Spartanburg, SC and Debbie Durham Hurford (Anthony) of Gaffney, SC; grandchildren, Stephanie Cauthen (Thomas), Rob Goen (Holly), Sam Durham, and Sally Ruth Durham; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Tracie Ann Durham. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 AM Friday, June 15, 2018, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 N, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, with funeral services following at 12:00 noon, conducted by The Rev. Andy Case. Burial will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Boiling Springs Road, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
