Shirley Palmer Fuller, of Spartanburg, SC, entered into her Heavenly Home on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 11, 1935, in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ed Washington and Mary Tweed Palmer, and was the widow of Thomas Avon Fuller. Mrs. Fuller was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and was secretary of the Friendship Sunday School Class. Prior to retirement, she worked for the SC Department of Corrections. Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Stewart Richardson; two step-daughters, Robin Fuller and Carol O'Doherty; one brother, Reid Palmer, of Union, SC; a grandson, Stewart Richardson (Alison); a granddaughter, Kelly S. Harvey (Blane); a great-grandson, Levi Harvey; a great-granddaughter, Everleigh Richardson; and special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Reece Stewart. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303, conducted by the Rev. Frank Lybrand. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will follow the committal in the Mausoleum.
