Shirley Clary

Shirley Stone Hurley Clary, 83, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, February 16, 2017, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born January 23, 1934, in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hulon Aden Stone and Era Virginia Littlejohn Stone. A graduate of Limestone College, Shirley was a member of Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church and retired from Conrad and Company, CPA. Survivors include her daughters, Sherry Vaughn (Steve) and Teri Dennis (Michael), all of Spartanburg; grandson, Ashley Burns (Tae) of Campobello; and sister, Alliene Barnette of Spartanburg. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by an infant son, Danny Hurley; and sister, Sybil Johnson. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church, by the Rev. Dr. D. J. Horton, Mr. Steve Vaughn and Mr. Clint Johnson. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303; or Anderson Mill Road Baptist Church Building Fund, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore, SC 29369. The family would like to express deep love and gratitude to Dana Heatherly, Maurice Hood, Rena Carter, Carolyn Dennis, and Shirley Jardina for the love and care shown to Shirley.
