Shellie Linn Starck

Shellie Linn Goins Starck, 53, of Inman, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at her home. A native of St. Louis, MO., she was a daughter of the late Thomas Ray and Loretta Fay Goodwin Goins. 

She was a dance Mom for Starmakers Dance Company and The Bailey Mountain Cloggers. 

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Philip Paul Starck; daughter, Christina Raye Starck of Mars Hill University; brother, Thomas Ray (Rusty) Goins, Jr. of Cowpens; sisters, Debra Goins of Inman, Tammy G. Farmer(Brian) of Spartanburg, and her four-legged baby “Chloe”;  Nephews, Gabriel Goins, Damon Goins, Tyler Goins (Kayla); niece, Heather Farmer; great nephews, Daniel Goins, Carson and Tatum Goins and a great niece, CeCe Goins. 

Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 6, 2023, at Parkway Free Will Baptist Church, 3615 Parris Bridge Road, Spartanburg, SC 29316 conducted by the Rev. Mitchell Edge. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Memorial Park, 4164 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
