Sheila MacMillan

Sheila Mary Millwater MacMillan, 71 of Spartanburg, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center-Mary Black Campus.  She was born November 30, 1950 in Blaydon, England, a daughter of the late Robert William and Mary Boyce Millwater.

Sheila was born in England, moved to Scotland, to Canada, and finally to the United States.  She retired in 2011 as an administrator in the Department of Neurology at Yale University.

Surviving are her loving husband of 51 years, Robert MacMillan; her sons, Iain MacMillan (Cassie) of Greenville, SC and Grant MacMillan (Juli) of Spartanburg; her grandsons, Finlay and Harrison MacMillan; and her best friends, Gwen Gurney and Irene McCowan.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
