Sharon Sexton

Sharon Elaine Hansel Sexton, 63, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Monday, August 22, 2016, at her home. Born August 15, 1953, in Coronado, CA, she was the daughter of Ida Lee Stacy Hansel of Boiling Springs, SC and the late John T. Hansel Jr. Sharon loved her family and enjoyed all types of painting. She attended East Tennessee State University and was a member of Truth Ministries. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 33 years, Steven Mark Sexton of the home; brother, Mike Hansel (Abby) of Prestonsburg, KY; sister, Debbie Pennington (James) of Whitesburg, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, August 27, 2016, at the home, by the Rev. James Pennington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Truth Ministries Building Fund, PO Box 307, Whitesburg, KY 41858. The family is at the home of Steven Sexton.
