Sharon Everts

Sharon Louise Everts, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born October 2, 1937, in Trumbulls Corner, Newfield, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nelson LaRue "Rudy" and Dorothy Amanda Havens Fitzpatrick. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Geroge Roberts Everts. Mrs. Everts was retired from Spartanburg Methodist College and was a diehard Atlanta Braves fan. Survivors include her daughters, Terri Camp (Curtis) of Pauline, Karen Lanford (Johnny) and Laura Crowe (Ricky), all of Spartanburg, and Kris Hames (Barry) of Roebuck; sons, Steve Everts (Sally) of Romulus, NY, and Bob Everts (Lisa) of Spartanburg; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Laurence, and Harry Fitzpatrick; and sister, Patricia Price. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
