Sgt. Jimmie David Moore, U. S. Air Force (Ret.), 56, of Pacolet, SC, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at his home. Born December 26, 1957, in Maine, he was the son of the late James David Moore and Mary Alice Gibbs Moore. A retired veteran, with 20 years of service in the U. S. Air Force, Sergeant Moore was a member of New Beginnings Church in Pacolet. Survivors include his brother, Roger Moore (Denise) of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Sharon Duncan (Ray) of Pacolet, SC, and Karyl Moore of Prescott, AZ; one niece; four nephews; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Moore. Visitation will be 11:30 AM-12:45 PM Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Dr., Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Bill Pickle. Burial with military rites by the U. S. Air Force Honor Guard will be in Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Rd., Moore, SC 29369. The family is at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Denise Moore, 1631 Glenn Springs Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
