Sarah Mount

Sarah Leeuna Bowers Mount, 92, formerly of Dana Drive, Easley, SC, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Glorified Health & Rehab of Greenville. Born December 13, 1918, in Williamston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Augustus and Bernice Owings Bowers and wife of the late James Willie Mount. Sarah was a member of Siloam Baptist Church of Powdersville and retired from Aug W. Smith retail department store. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Mount and Franklin Odell Brookshire, Jr. of Easley; a grandson, Franklin Odell Brookshire, III of Easley; two nephews, Danny and Jimmy Bowers of Spartanburg; and a cousin, Carilee Rivele of Bainbridge, PA. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Wayne Dickard and Mr. D. L. Bundrick. Visitation will follow at the graveside. The family is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beverly Brookshire, 125 Dana Dr., Easley, SC.
