Sarah Mcbee

Sarah Magill McBee, 97, of Pauline, SC, died Friday, December 19, 2014, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born March 23, 1917, in Rock Hill, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Boyce and Nan Johnston Talbert, and widow of her first husband, John Francis Magill, and second husband, Andrew McBee. Mrs. McBee was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, the Ladies Bible Class, and was a professional interior decorator. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Forbis (Douglas) of Pauline and Ann Farmer (Stan) of Roebuck; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a son, John Francis Magill, Jr.; two sisters; and two brothers. Visitation will be 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Darien Bunch and the Rev. Will Gunter. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
