Sarah Elizabeth Pack King, 73, of Cross Hill, SC, died Monday, February 2, 2015, at Hospice Care of the Piedmont, Greenwood, SC. Born January 9, 1942, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Harvey and Dorothy Lee Thomas Pack. Mrs. King was a member of Cedarwood Community Church and formerly employed with Doctors Memorial Hospital. Surviving is her loving husband of 56 years, Raymond Edward King; sons, Steven King (Lynn) of Chesnee, SC and Mark King (Tammy) of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Carroll Park (Kathy) of Chapin, SC; three nieces; and five nephews. Visitation will be 2:00-2:45 PM Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, in Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, conducted by the Rev. Clint Carter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cedarwood Community Church, 17194 Highway 72 West, Waterloo, SC 29384. The family is at their respective homes.
