Sarah Ingram

Sarah Tessnear Ingram, 89, of Pacolet, SC died Saturday, September 14, 2013. Born March 3, 1924 in Pacolet, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Oliver and Docia Duncan Tessnear and wife of the late William Arthur (Bill) Ingram. She was a member of Montgomery Memorial United Methodist Church and worked in textiles. Survivors include her three daughters, Carolyn Buice and Pat Jennings (Wayne) all of Pacolet, and Shirley Robertson (Tim) of Gresham, SC; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Alvis Ingram; son-in-law, Billy Ray Buice; sisters, Lucy Horne, May Belle Scales, and Corrie (Ett) Jennings; brothers, June Tessnear, Fred Tessnear, Jess Tessnear, Bill Tessnear, Bynum Tessnear, and Charlie Tessnear. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, September 16, 2013 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 17, 2013 Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. The family is at the home of Carolyn Buice, 691 East Main Street, Pacolet, SC 29372.
