Sara Waldrop

Sara Yvonne Hanna Waldrop, 70, wife of Bobby Dean Waldrop, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at her home.  Born May 14, 1951, Mrs. Waldrop was the daughter of the late John Hanna and Sara Caldwell Smith.

Mrs. Waldrop was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and retired from ExoPack.

Survivors along with her husband of 48 years, include a son, Christopher Waldrop (Angela); a daughter, Kimberly Thompson (Jamie); three (3) stepchildren, Tammy Shaffer, Bobby Dean Waldrop Jr. (Tammy), and Tina Blanton (Michael); 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Tonya Smith.  Mrs. Waldrop was predeceased by a sister, Mary Lynn Smith and a brother, John Hanna III.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022, 3:00 PM, at Philadelphia Baptist Church, 3119 Hwy 56, Pauline, SC, 29374, conducted by the Rev. Kiah Graves and Rev. Ozzie Mabry.  Burial will be in the church cemetery with visitation afterwards.
