Sara Margaret Oxley Rogers, 87, of Spartanburg, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at Magnolia Manor-Spartanburg. Born November 22, 1924, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Rosa Lee Lyles Oxley. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all. She was a member of Roebuck Baptist Church, for 62 years, and retired from Mayfair Mill. Survivors include her daughters, Sandy R. Bradley and husband David, and Lynn R. Flynn and husband Jim, all of Spartanburg, SC; sons, Brent Rogers and wife Nina of Mill Spring, NC, and Chuck Rogers of Asheville, NC; daughter-in-law, Nancy Rogers of Glenn Springs, SC; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and sisters, Mary Bell of Williamston, NC, June Garren of Spartanburg, SC, Nancy London of Inman, SC, and Joyce Walden of Switzer, SC. She was predeceased by a son, Tommy Rogers. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, March 25, 2012, in Roebuck Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Dr. Tim Williams and Mr. Kevin Horres. Visitation will follow in the church chapel. Honorary escort are members of the Daughters of Ruth Sunday School Class.
