Sara Seay Morris

Mrs. Sara Seay Morris, 91, of Spartanburg entered into eternal rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Sara was born in Moore, South Carolina the daughter of the late Ed A. Seay and the late Edna Pruitt Seay. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years: Charles Benjamin Morris: Five siblings: Lois Harris, Doris Westmoreland, Elaine Oliver, Richard Seay, and Anderson Seay.

Sara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She retired from Wachovia Bank as Assistant Vice President with over 30 years of faithful service. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish Sara’s memories are her children; Tim Morris (Stephanie), Cindy M. Phillips (Al), David Morris, and Robert Morris; grandchildren: Molly Morris, Meredith Morris, and Al Phillips III (Marilawren); great grandchildren: Salem Morris, Harrison Phillips, Hannah Grace Phillips, Andrew Hayes Phillips and Mary Hayden Phillips; a sister: Betty West.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family will greet friends following the service. The burial will be private for the family and will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

Sara’s memories will be treasured for years to come by everyone who knew and loved her.
