Sara Lemmonds

Sara Henderson Lemmonds, 84, of Pacolet, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born February 8, 1928, in Gaffney, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Olema Hughey Henderson, and wife, for 58 years, of the late Jack Coogan Lemmonds. Mrs. Lemmonds was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and retired from Reeves Brothers. Survivors include her sons, Jackie Lemmonds and wife Nyla of Pacolet, Brian Lemmonds of Boiling Springs, and Rod Lemmonds of Pacolet; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and brothers, Gene Henderson of Pacolet and Johnny Henderson of Gaffney. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, February 24, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Holland. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens.
