Sao Yang

Sao Her Yang, 62, of Spartanburg, died Tuesday, May 3, 2010, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born August 3, 1947, in Laos, she was the daughter of the late Xai Chong and Mai Thao Her. She was a member of Calvary Hmong Alliance Church. Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Chong Shoua Yang; four daughters, Youa Y. Kue of Warren, MI, Pang Y. Gowdy of Brookfield, WI, Lou Y. Cha of Sheboygan, WI, and Sai Yang of Spartanburg; eight sons, Tou Kou Yang of Warren, MI, Nhia Tou Yang of Seattle, WA, Yer T. Yang of Oshkosh, WI, Tony Yang of Toccoa, GA, Yec Leng Yang of Hoschton, GA, Tou Yang, Tou Yee Yang, and Joua Yang, all of Spartanburg; four brothers; four sisters; twenty grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2010, and 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Floyd's Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
