Sandra Kaye Porter Cantrell

Mrs. Sandra Kaye Porter Cantrell, 75, of Chesnee, South Carolina, went home to be with her Savior on Saturday morning, October 2, 2021, in her sleep. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ervin and Mary Smith Keith Porter, and the beloved wife of Ellis Lewis Cantrell, Sr. for 35 years before his death in July of 2003.

Known to many as "Momma", Mrs. Cantrell was the owner and president of Diesel Truck Parts, Inc., which she started with her husband in 1981. She was a longtime member of Mountain View Baptist Church on Parris Bridge Road in Spartanburg, a current member of Fairview Baptist Church on Bryant Road also in Spartanburg, and a founding member of Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs, SC.

She is survived by her son, Ellis Lewis Cantrell, Jr., grandson, Ellis Lewis Cantrell, III; her daughter, Tallulah Kaye Cantrell Seiber and her husband, Michael David Seiber, Sr., grandson, Michael David "Davey" Seiber, Jr., and his wife, Shanda Breeann Waffle Seiber, great-granddaughter Leah Grace Seiber, grandson, Anthony "Tony" Ellis Seiber and his wife, Joanna Marie Woodfield Seiber, her granddaughter, Mary Leora Kaye Seiber, and grandson Timothy Lewis Estes Seiber; and her brother, Herman E. "Butch" Porter and his wife, Judy Meade Porter.
Private burial was held in December 2021, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers were: grandsons, Ellis Lewis Cantrell, III, Michael David Seiber, Jr., Anthony Ellis Seiber, Timothy Lewis Estes Seiber, son-in-law Michael David Seiber, Sr., and brother Herman E. "Butch" Porter.

Receiving of Friends (Remembrance Gathering) will be Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC, 29303.
