Sandra Wilson

Sandra Jean Calvert Wilson, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation, Rutherfordton, NC. Born January 3, 1941, in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Lee Calvert Sr. and Allene Floyd Calvert. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her daughters, Donna Kay Wilson of Chesnee, SC, and Debbie Marie Franklin (Stanley) of Mooresboro, NC; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Allen Calvert (Barbara) of Spartanburg, SC; and sisters, Doris Owens of Spartanburg, SC, and Margaret Hodge of Duncan, SC. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Dianne King; sisters, Mary Greenway and Juanita McGowan; and brothers, Archie Lee Calvert Jr. and Bobby Calvert. Visitation will be 2:00-3:30 PM Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, 235 N. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 PM, at the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Randy Lewis. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Solid Rock Church, 1326 Union Street, Spartanburg, SC 29302. The family is at their respective homes.
