Sandra Dunn Revels, 76, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born November 9, 1939, in Tucapau, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Leonard Dunn and Thelma Henderson Dunn and widow of Sam Revels. A member of Valley Falls Baptist Church, Mrs. Revels enjoyed the love of her family and was an avid word puzzler, animal lover and coloring book enthusiast. A life-long fan of Elvis Presley, it was his gospel music that served as a backdrop to her children's lives. Professionally, she was a Unit Secretary at Mary Black Memorial Hospital for over 20 years and continued as a secretary with Ivey Electric Company upon retirement. She has three surviving children from her first marriage to Leon E. Stevens: Scott Stevens (Linda) of Cowpens, SC, Sherry Stevens (Kevin) of Spartanburg, SC, and Stacy Stevens (Melody) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Christopher Stevens, Tyler Stevens, Julian Stevens, Stephen Patterson and Heather Patterson; great-grandchildren, Brantley Stevens, Aubrey Wood, and Aiden Wood; sisters and brother, Loretta Dunn, Ronnie Dunn, and Linda Beck, all of Boiling Springs, SC; and her niece and nephews, Donna Jackson, Shane Beck and Anthony Beck. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Betsy Carol Dunn.
